The interns here were given the opportunity to design a new building for a local children's center thats going up, and the design that best fit the project would get used. Somehow, in the most unseen of outcomes, mine was picked. This means that I'm going to get to go to an actual site and have say in whats going on. If this goes right it'll be amazing to put on my resume. |

Finally got myself a job outside of a gas station. It's not the best architectural firm in town but its considerably better than most of the offers I'd received. Maybe I'll be able to stop living in the dorms my last quarter...That NP Professor James gave me my first quarter is really biting me in the ass.

Thanksgiving was interesting this year. Found mom crying into the mash potatoes and dad had spiked the eggnog and sparkling cider. Holiday happened to fall on her birthday this year and I was the one to put on the brave face for the day.
God I miss her. |
